Dear Fellow Rotarians and Spouses of District 3850!
Greetings from the City of Smiles, Bacolod City! The Rotary Club of
Bacolod South is honored and pleased to invite you and your family to
REDISCOVER BACOLOD 2008 District Conference (DISCON) to be held
on 3-5 April 2008 at the newest hotel in our city, PLANTA.
We are presently finalizing the details of our 2008 Discon, which promises
to recreate the famous Negrense hospitality and friendship and deliver a
tremendous learning experience for both new and long-standing Rotarians of
our District. We have identified a list of prominent Rotarians and
non-Rotarians to be invited as our Plenary Session speakers and Group
Discussion leaders. REDISCOVER BACOLOD 2008 DISCON will be
designed as a gathering for increasing Rotary knowledge, membership growth
and retention, renewing and developing friendships and acquaintances and
inspire us to demonstrate that ROTARY SHARES in our
communities and the world. Thus, it is fitting for us to mark these
important dates – 3-5 April 2008 – in our calendars to rediscover and
re-experience Bacolod City and attend our 2008 District Conference.
We also encourage you to register early for our
REDISCOVER BACOLOD
2008 DISCON
and avail of our special discount
rates if registering from now up to 15 February 2008 and from 16 February
to 15 March 2008. Registration fee covers the cost of our 2008 DISCON
kit, three (3) Buffet Dinners and one (1) Lunch. The registration form is
enclosed for your use, which includes the list of recommended hotels in
Bacolod City. We would greatly appreciate if you can confirm your hotel
reservations, indicating the number and type(s) of room(s) required and
arrival dates, with our 2008 DISCON Secretariat. A one (1)-day deposit
will be required for every hotel room reserved.
