Out of the proceeds of this fund raising
project, a total amount of P300,000.00 was allocated and raffled to clubs
with 60 prizes of $100 (PhP 5,000) for contribution as Rotary Foundation
Sustaining Members (RFSM). For each lot that a club has sold, one raffle
ticket was assigned. There were 120 raffle tickets in all, and 60 winners
were drawn.
For the grand prizes, checks will be
issued to the individual winners.
For all the consolation cash prizes, the
district will issue to each club (with winners), the total amount of the
individual prizes. The clubs, in turn, shall pay the cash prizes to the
individual winners.
For the winners of the Rotary Foundation
Sustaining Member prizes, the following guidelines have been set by the
district.
- No cash will be given to the clubs.
The district will remit to TRF the money upon the clubs’ submission of
names of recipients.
- Clubs are encouraged to raffle off to
their members the RFSM prizes.
A club could assign one raffle ticket for
each stub sold by members. Therefore, the more stubs a member has sold,
the bigger his or her chances will be.
The complete name, ID#, address and
telephone #s of the winners (RFSM recipients) should be reported to the
district. Upon receipt of payment by R.I., the official receipts will then
be mailed to them.
